About the team
Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team advises clients on deals. That includes financial due diligence (FDD), sale and purchase agreement (SPA) advisory and data analytics. As part of the FDD team, you'll work on buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients.
How you'll work
We're open to flexible working, including reduced days, annualised days, term-time working.Tell us what you need and we'll talk it through. Our hybrid model mixes office, client site and remote working.
The role
As an Assistant Manager, you'll work on every stage of an FDD engagement, from client take-on to the final report. You will:
· Prepare the analysis and findings for the client report, helping clients make confident decisions
· Take part in client discussions and target business meetings, and work with the wider team on technical points
· Analyse complex information, spot business issues and apply your technical knowledge
· Help present conclusions and recommendations to clients, and talk through what they mean and what happens next
· Support a strong risk management culture in the team
· Contribute to the team's business development
· Look after your own development and help the people around you develop theirs
What you'll need
· A professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA)
Helpful, but not essential
· Experience in audit or another advisory service line
· Experience of applying commercial judgement
· A collaborative approach to teamwork
· Deals experience since qualifying
