Transaction Services Trainee

The full-time Trainee position begins at the beginning of January 2027 and lasts around 5 to 6 months. Many Trainees continue with us into permanent roles after their Trainee period. Our Transaction Services team is a core part of Deloitte’s broader M&A offering , providing buy and sell-side advisory services related to corporate acquisitions and divestitures with a focus on financial due diligence. This involves analysing the target company’s financial results, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows. As a Trainee, you will assist our professionals with due diligence and client engagements, deepening your expertise in financial analysis, client deliverables, and M&A processes. You will be an integral part of the team, gaining a unique foundation for your career in M&A. We also hope that you have: An excellent academic record preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field Strong analytical skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Solid skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and interest towards learning and applying analytical and AI tools in your work Fluency in English is required. Strong Finnish language skills are a significant advantage in this role. Preferred candidates have completed their bachelor’s degree and are either finalising their master’s degree studies or have recently graduated.
