Transfer Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transfer Specialist to support account transfer operations within a financial services environment. This role involves reviewing client requests, validating documentation, coordinating with financial institutions, and ensuring account transfers are completed accurately and within required timelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in banking, financial services, client support, or operations processing who enjoy working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process client account transfer requests.
• Verify transfer forms and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with external financial institutions regarding transfer status and outstanding requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation throughout the transfer process.
• Research and resolve transfer-related issues.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Reconcile information to ensure account accuracy.
• Support department goals through process improvement and teamwork.
• Perform general administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent administrative, operations, or client service experience within a professional office environment.
• Experience working in banking, financial services, credit unions, brokerage operations, or related industries.
• Experience reviewing, processing, or managing documents and records.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience with account transfers, account maintenance, or financial operations.
• Brokerage, wealth management, or investment services experience.
• experience working in regulated environments with compliance requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
