What You'll Do
As a transformation Manager at BIG W, you will orchestrate critical operating rhythms, lead distributed cross-functional teams across local and global hubs, and drive continuous improvement to accelerate performance. This pivotal role positions you as an enablement partner to senior leadership, shaping the future of retail delivery in an evolving operating model.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic planning forums, including Small Room Planning, Big Room Planning, and Quarterly Delivery Cycles.
- Design cross-functional operating rhythms integrating onshore and offshore teams.
- Develop and manage a robust Delivery Tracker to ensure transparent visibility into quarterly priorities and track performance against strategic OKRs.
- Standardise delivery tooling, interaction models, and communication protocols to optimise collaboration across distributed global hubs.
- Design and facilitate strategic business function labs, inception rituals, and retrospectives alongside Product and Technology leaders.
- Champion change management strategies to transition onshore teams into effective orchestrators while building a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Demonstrated transformation or portfolio management experience, ideally within a retail, e-commerce, or marketplace environment.
- Exceptional executive influence with a proven track record of partnering with senior leadership in complex matrix environments.
- Deep expertise in designing organisational execution frameworks, process management models, and delivery cadences.
- High-impact communication skills, with the ability to translate complex delivery data into sharp executive narratives.
- Commercial acumen and confidence to constructively challenge leaders, unblock delivery bottlenecks, and align teams around enterprise goals.
- High adaptability and first-principles thinking, thriving in ambiguity while building repeatable frameworks for continuous improvement.
