Responsibilities Essential Functions Monitors the process and outcomes of the projects helping to ensure the project is on schedule. Provides administrative and logistical support. Documents issues and decisions. Assists in preparing proposals, reports and documents regarding project. Participates in staffing needs and resources for the project. Reviews monthly budget statements to ensure that the program/project has the funds needed for continuation. May perform basic project management functions. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. Demonstrated communication skills. Commitment to providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in a clinical field, business or equivalency. One year of related experience. Qualifications (Preferred) Preferred Experience in management or coordination, training, quality assurance, team building, program development and evaluation. Experience with insurance payers, prior authorization, hospital financials, patient billing STRONGLY preferred Experience in organ transplant preferred Must have patient interaction/experience, clinical or non-clinical Epic / EMR experience preferred This position requires on-call duties shared with other Transplant Financial Coordinators to cover 24/7. This on-call can be handled over the phone but applicant must be available during their on-call shift. Hybrid / work from home earned after full training is complete. This position is NOT fully remote. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. This is a sedentary position in an office setting that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position involves sitting most of the time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
