If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.
Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.
In this role, you'll:
Join the Transport Planning branch as a Transport Planner to help develop important transport planning technical guidance, frameworks and tools such as the Guide to Transport Impact Assessment, Design of Roads and Streets and Transport Access Indicators. You will support projects that help shape the future of the transport system and deliver better outcomes for customers and communities across NSW.
Working within the Technical Guidance and Frameworks team, you will contribute to the development and improvement of transport planning guidance, strategic frameworks and planning tools. You will undertake research and analysis, prepare clear technical advice and documentation, and work collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders across Transport.
You will support updates to existing guidance and the development of new products, contribute to project scoping and delivery, and help translate complex transport planning information into practical resources for practitioners. You will also have opportunities to contribute to innovative and data-informed approaches that strengthen the integration of transport and land use planning.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working across different subject areas, can manage competing priorities and is comfortable contributing to multidisciplinary projects in an evolving policy and planning environment.
