Traveling Radiology Technologists are responsible for: Performing DXA scans, imagine exams, and other data collection tasks that require certified radiologic training. Calibrating and maintaining radiologic equipment, record data and observations, and prepare data for shipping and review. Setting up/packing the examination rooms, including packing, unpacking, and storing light equipment and supplies. Administering medical history screening questions related to assigned exams. Participating in quality assurance and following infection control protocols. Recording screening responses and test measurements using project software. Attending and completing all required project training. Following procedures outlined in the Manual of Procedures. Managing and maintaining assigned equipment, tablets, and supplies. Providing completed forms and documentation to supervisors as requested. Performing spirometry, audiometry, body, or vision measurements as assigned. Cross trained to serve as backup for other MEC exam data collection activities. Lifting and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Minimum Required Qualifications: Ability to work independently and in a team environment Associate’s degree in Radiology or related field, or equivalent military training in radiology Certified by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Licensed in state of residence (if required) Minimum 1 year of experience as a radiologic technician in a health care setting with direct patient care, CPR certification or willingness to obtain w ithin 3 months Strong communication skills, especially with children and parents Basic computer proficiency and clerical skills S trong organizational skills a nd attention to detail Must possess a valid US driver's license In order to travel by air, federal law requires individuals have REAL ID or an acceptable alternative. This position may require the successful candidate to travel by air for business reasons. Accordingly, successful candidates must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID, or TSA approved alternative Preferred Qualifications for Ideal Candidates: Fluency in Spanish
