POSITION OVERVIEW
The Treasury & Client Services Associate (TCSA) provides comprehensive operational and client support to Commercial Banking teams and commercial clients across business, personal, and commercial deposit products. This role serves as a primary point of contact for client servicing inquiries and service requests, delivering timely and professional support through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
The TCSA is responsible for onboarding new client relationships, including collecting and reviewing required documentation, completing account setup, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all new account records. The role plays a critical part in safeguarding the Bank by applying risk assessment protocols, adhering to regulatory requirements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures to mitigate operational, reputational, and audit risk.
Acting as a subject matter resource, the TCSA maintains working knowledge of deposit products, cash management services, and related systems, including Online Banking, ACH, wire transfers, EFTPS payments, and Remote Deposit Capture. The role supports relationship banking efforts by delivering high-quality client service, assisting with client onboarding, and identifying potential opportunities to deepen existing .relationships for referral to relationship managers or Treasury Management Advisors.
The TCSA collaborates closely with Treasury Management Advisors, Client & Treasury Managers, and other internal partners to support daily operations and enhance the client experience. This position includes oversight of assigned operational processes and requires strict adherence to compliance standards in all account-related activities and client communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Provide direct support to commercial clients through phone, email, and in-person interactions, delivering timely and professional service.
- Assist in fostering a strong client-centric culture by identifying potential cross-selling opportunities aligned to client
.needs and referring them to relationship managers or Treasury Management Advisors. - Support relationship management efforts by participating in client interactions, including joint calls, relationship reviews,
and client training sessions, as.appropriate; product demonstrations and advisory discussions are led by Treasury Management Advisors or relationship managers. - Promote and maintain positive working relationships with internal partners and external clients to support overall service excellence.
Treasury Management & Sales Support
- Support Treasury Management Advisors and Client & Treasury leadership with pre-call research and proposal preparation, including pricing and post-sales documentation.
- Assist in gathering and organizing prospective client information to support product recommendations and proposal development prepared by Treasury Management Advisors and relationship managers.
- Contribute to client onboarding and relationship deepening efforts by supporting product education and service adoption.
- Reinforce treasury management
,service information and client training provided by Treasury Management Advisors, including associated risks, requirements, and best practices.
Account Onboarding, Documentation & Servicing
- Prepare account documentation, product agreements, and supporting legal forms for new and existing client relationships.
- Collect, review, and validate required documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of account setup and maintenance requests.
- Perform account servicing activities, including account openings, maintenance, transfers, and check orders, in accordance with established procedures.
- Communicate documentation deficiencies to submitting officers or partners, track outstanding items, and ensure timely resolution.
- Executes onboarding, account servicing, and maintenance activities; does not own client relationships or provide treasury product recommendations.
Operational Coordination & Process Management
- Review incoming requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to Bank requirements prior to processing.
- Maintain and update tracking tools and logs to provide visibility into request status and support workflow transparency across teams.
- Partner with Commercial Banking and Treasury teams to support efficient onboarding, account maintenance, and daily operational processes.
- Escalate issues or process gaps to management, including concerns related to account setup, documentation, or service delivery.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable federal and state regulations and internal policies, including but not limited to BSA/AML, Fair Lending, Privacy, and Anti-Discrimination requirements.
- Apply established policies and procedures to perform transactions accurately and mitigate operational and financial risk.
- Review client files and transactions for completeness and compliance, identifying and addressing potential deficiencies prior to finalization.
- Complete all required compliance training within designated timeframes.
Administrative & Technical Support
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including document management, filing, correspondence, report preparation, and data entry.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and internal systems to maintain accurate records and support reporting needs.
- Contribute to departmental and Bank-wide goals by supporting operational efficiency and service quality initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of banking experience, including:
- At least 4 years directly responsible for commercial deposit account opening and servicing
- At least 2 years independently executing end-to-end commercial account setups (documentation review, system entry, funding, and maintenance)
- 3 years of hands-on experience applying BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, and Beneficial Ownership requirements in account opening decisions
- 3 years of direct experience reviewing and approving business entity documentation (LLCs, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits) in accordance with regulatory and bank standards
- 2 years of experience requiring correction of incomplete or non-compliant documentation prior to account opening
- 3 years of experience working from a queue or workflow system where work is completed without daily manager direction
- 2 years of documented responsibility for final accuracy review prior to submission or account approval
- 3 years of experience assessing and acting on risk indicators in new or existing account relationships
- 2 years of documented accountability for accuracy and compliance of completed account setups
- 3 years managing a high-volume pipeline of account opening and maintenance requests with defined turnaround expectations
- 2 years meeting established SLAs for processing timelines
- 3 years of experience using a core banking system to open and maintain commercial deposit accounts
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or equivalent
- Additional certifications in deposit operations, compliance, or treasury management
- 2 years of experience enforcing documentation standards, including returning incomplete or non-compliant requests
- Experience supporting process improvements, regulatory updates, or system implementations
- 1 year serving as a resource or trainer for account opening procedures, documentation standards, or compliance requirements

COMPENSATION
The posted pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role but may include ranges from the different geographies where this position may be based. New employees' starting pay is usually from the start of the range to approximately 25% of the max, more qualified and/or experienced employees may start near the middle of the range for their geography. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
Compensation for our organization is based on factors that include the role, required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies, and candidates’ relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Our pay ranges are based on national living wage indexes, such as MIT's living wage index, to enable us to pay our employees beyond what are standard practices for many employers, and also take into account geographically-specific recent compensation market survey data for each position.
