In ALTEN we are seeking a Front Suspension Design Engineer to lead the redesign of front suspension systems for next-gen electric vehicles. You will focus on transitioning from transverse leaf springs to coil-over spring architectures , ensuring compatibility with steering, driveline, and chassis systems. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design, package integration, and durability analysis , with a hands-on approach to solving complex engineering challenges. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: - Define component and system engineering requirements. - Create and develop engineering designs and concepts. - Perform packaging, tolerance, and feasibility studies. - Develop CAD models, drawings, and engineering releases. - Support CAE, prototype builds, testing, Sourcing and validation activities. - Resolve design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues. - Collaborate with Internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. - Manage engineering changes and documentation. - Proven background in concept-to-production vehicle development and problem-solving 5y+ years of automotive/commerical vehicle engineering experience within relevant domain. 2y+ CAD experience (CATIA 3Dx, 3D Expereince or V5). GD&T and tolerance analysis DFMA & Serviceability principles.
