UI Engineer

Description

5+ years of experience Hands-on experience developing production front-end and UI applications. Proficiency with modern JavaScript and/or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Experience with reusable component design, state management, API integration, and automated UI testing. Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, semantic markup, keyboard navigation, focus management, and responsive design. Experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, filtering, drill-down, search, and reporting interfaces. Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services. Strong understanding of web performance, browser compatibility, and responsive application development. Strong technical communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility. Active Top Secret clearance highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing applications for Federal financial, grants, budget, payment, award oversight, or financial reporting systems. Experience delivering applications in secure Federal, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments. Experience with Linux-based development or deployment environments. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server. Familiarity with Java and/or .NET backend applications and APIs. Experience with Jenkins, self-hosted Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Rancher. Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-powered capabilities into web applications. Familiarity with open-source AI models and AI-enabled user interfaces. Experience with WCAG and Section 508 compliance in production applications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $68.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
