Opportunity Overview

Our client is a performance-focused Shopify agency partnering with high-growth, seven-figure and eight-figure DTC e-commerce brands. Rather than chasing scale, they obsess over how design, UX, and experimentation drive measurable commercial results. This role offers the chance to design across a diverse range of DTC brands, from full theme builds to fast-turnaround CRO test variations.

Role Description

As an Ecommerce UI/UX Designer, you will own design across Shopify theme builds, landing pages, and conversion-focused test variations. You will apply CRO principles to homepage structure, product pages, collections, and navigation, balancing brand polish with measurable performance. Working closely with CRO specialists, developers, and account managers, you will explain design decisions through a commercial lens. You will also build scalable, well-structured Figma files that are ready for handover and future iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Shopify design delivery - Design theme builds, section redesigns, landing pages, PDP improvements, and CRO test variations.
• Conversion-focused layouts - Apply CRO principles to homepages, product pages, collections, navigation, and information architecture.
• Brand and performance balance - Balance polish with performance while designing for easy future iteration.
• Scalable Figma systems - Build and maintain structured Figma files with clear components, styles, and naming conventions.
• Cross-functional collaboration - Work with CRO specialists, developers, and account managers, explaining design choices commercially.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ecommerce design experience - 2-12 years designing for Shopify or other high-converting e-commerce stores.
• UX fundamentals - Strong UX fundamentals with clean, modern, and consistent UI execution.
• Figma proficiency - Deep familiarity with Figma as your primary day-to-day design tool.
• CRO test design - Hands-on experience designing CRO or A/B test variations for landing pages and PDPs.
• Handover-ready files - Experience structuring design files for clean handover and future iteration.
• Funnel understanding - Solid understanding of e-commerce funnels, user intent, and buying behaviour.

Bonus Qualifications

• Shopify theme knowledge - Familiarity with Shopify theme structure or Liquid-based builds when handing over designs.
• Commercial awareness - Able to connect design decisions to conversion and AOV outcomes.
• Versatile delivery - Comfortable working across full builds and quick-turnaround CRO test designs.
