UI/UX Designer 4

Apply Job Type Full-time Description Centex Technologies is hiring a UI/UX Designer 4 to lead research, interaction design, prototyping, and design-system work for accessible, intuitive digital products serving complex user and customer needs. This opportunity is well suited to an experienced professional who enjoys owning difficult work, creating clarity, and collaborating across technical, program, and customer teams. What You'll Do Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, workflow analysis, and usability studies. Translate qualitative and quantitative findings into personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and prioritized design opportunities. Create information architectures, task flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes. Design responsive experiences that meet accessibility requirements and account for edge cases, error states, and complex data. Partner with product managers, analysts, engineers, and QA to turn design intent into testable acceptance criteria. Review implemented work for usability, accessibility, and fidelity; resolve tradeoffs with engineering teams. Requirements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, visual design, psychology, information science, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant experience. Seven or more years of UI/UX, product design, interaction design, or related experience, including ownership of complex products or workflows. Portfolio demonstrating research-informed decisions, interaction design, prototyping, accessibility, and shipped outcomes. Advanced ability to communicate design rationale and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Experience designing federal, defense, enterprise, data-intensive, or regulated applications. Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2, Section 508, responsive design, and design-token practices. Experience establishing or scaling a multi-product design system.
