About The Role

Inadev is actively seeking a Junior UI/UX & Visual Designer to lead the visual identity and user experience strategy across multiple federal and commercial projects. This role involves designing compelling, user-centered interfaces and experiences that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will work on innovative projects involving identity intelligence, immersive technology, AI/ML, virtualization, augmented reality, and digital transformation initiatives. Candidates outside the DC/MD/VA metro area may work fully remote, while local candidates are expected to adopt a hybrid work schedule in Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional UI/UX and Visual Design experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Strong portfolio demonstrating human-centered design (HCD) principles
• Experience working within Agile frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to create accurate time estimates and manage multiple projects effectively
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a 7-year background check
• Current residence within the Continental United States
• Willingness to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours
• Experience designing for various platforms and screen sizes
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual design and UI/UX strategies aligned with project goals
• Ideate and create innovative solutions to meet user and stakeholder needs
• Design detailed wireframes, prototypes, and responsive interfaces for multiple platforms
• Develop personas, user journey maps, and content flows to enhance user experience
• Organize and maintain design documentation, including style guides and libraries
• Present design concepts and solutions to team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality design artifacts in various formats suitable for development and presentation
• Stay updated on current UX and design trends to continually improve design quality
• Collaborate closely with UX teams, developers, and stakeholders, employing Human-Centered Design principles
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are accurately captured
• Engage with clients and team members to facilitate effective communication and feedback integration
• Manage multiple priorities independently and adapt to shifting project requirements
