Role: Underwriter Location : Remote Time Zone: US Eastern Hours (EST) Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Underwriter to join a fast-growing financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing financial applications, inputting and verifying data with a high degree of accuracy, and ensuring all underwriting decisions meet established guidelines and compliance standards. This is a precision-focused role suited for someone who takes pride in getting the details right. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate financial applications and supporting documentation Input and maintain accurate data across underwriting systems and platforms Verify the completeness and accuracy of submitted information Assess risk and ensure decisions align with established underwriting guidelines Flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information for resolution Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely turnaround Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all cases Adhere to compliance standards and internal policies at all times Required Qualifications Proven experience in financial underwriting or a related data-intensive financial role Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently and manage a consistent workload Excellent written and spoken English for US client-facing communication Comfortable working US Eastern hours on a full-time basis Prior remote work experience; candidates without demonstrated remote work experience will not be considered Experience working with US-based clients Preferred Qualifications Background in financial services, lending, insurance , or credit Familiarity with underwriting software and financial data platforms Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment Tools & Technology Underwriting and financial data platforms CRM and case management tools Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, or similar) We connect top talent with vetted employers, competitive pay, and real growth opportunities.
