US Client Accounting Services (CAS) Senior Associate - Night Shift

Your appointment as CAS Associate shall be on a full time basis. This role works US hours (PH Night Shift). As CAS Associate you shall perform the following functions: • Record deposit and disbursement transactions for clients; track debits and credits accurately and be comfortable with adjusting journal entries • Reconcile bank and credit card statements • Develop skills with payroll processing and understanding payroll regulations of IRS and the Department of Labor. Use those payroll skills in ADP software • Develop skills with client accounts payable in BILL (formerly bill.com) • Obtain a complete understanding of QuickBooks so you can efficiently record transactions in desktop and online versions of the software • Develop skills to analyze accounts to quickly identify errors and resolve them • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and understand how to operate in a system that is different for each client • Organize and maintain accounting services workpapers, client data and files in a manner that is easy to retrieve and follow • Obtain the skills to produce a monthly set of standardized financial statements for review by the project Manager Qualifications • 2+ Years of Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience, Required • Proficient in US GAAP, Required • Sage Intacct Experience, Preferred • CPA License, Preferred • Experience with Ramp, Bill, Gusto, QuickBooks Online is a plus • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information • Demonstrate ability to work both independently and with a team • A self-starter who is curious and not afraid to ask questions • Efficient with the ability to follow instructions, while maintaining strong attention to detail • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills • Above-average proficiency in Office 365; particularly Word and Excel • Comfortable with learning new technology Why Choose Sorren?
