Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced U.S. Healthcare Recruiter based in the Philippines to join our growing healthcare staffing team.
This position will begin as a temporary or contract assignment, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent, long-term role based on performance, reliability, attendance, candidate quality, and business needs.
The ideal candidate has previous experience recruiting healthcare professionals for U.S.-based staffing agencies, hospitals, government healthcare contracts, clinics, long-term care facilities, or other healthcare organizations.
Applicants must have direct U.S. healthcare recruiting experience. General recruitment, call-center, customer-service, or BPO experience without U.S. healthcare staffing experience will not meet the requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for U.S.-based contract, temporary, travel, and permanent positions.
- Recruit for positions such as registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, allied health professionals, therapists, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, physicians, and other clinical professionals.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidates based on experience, education, licenses, certifications, availability, location, compensation expectations, and job requirements.
- Conduct professional phone and video screening interviews.
- Present job opportunities clearly and accurately to prospective candidates.
- Explain compensation, schedules, contract terms, relocation requirements, credentialing expectations, and hiring timelines.
- Use LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, and other sourcing platforms.
- Build candidate pipelines for current and upcoming healthcare openings.
- Maintain regular follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Collect resumes, licenses, certifications, references, and other required candidate documents.
- Prepare complete and accurate candidate profiles for submission.
- Track recruiting activity, candidate status, interviews, offers, onboarding progress, and placements in the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate with account managers, recruitment leadership, credentialing teams, and other internal departments.
- Meet established weekly outreach, screening, submission, interview, and placement goals.
- Immediately communicate candidate concerns, delays, withdrawals, counteroffers, or other potential placement risks.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 to 4 years of U.S. healthcare recruiting experience.
- Previous experience supporting a U.S. healthcare staffing agency, hospital system, healthcare organization, or government healthcare staffing program.
- Knowledge of common U.S. healthcare positions, specialties, licenses, certifications, and credentialing requirements.
- Experience sourcing and screening healthcare professionals for U.S.-based positions.
- Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, or applicant tracking systems.
- Strong outbound calling, candidate engagement, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while meeting daily and weekly performance expectations.
- Availability to work a full-time U.S. business-hours schedule.
- Reliable computer, headset, high-speed internet connection, backup internet access, and a quiet home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting nurses, allied health professionals, physicians, advanced practice providers, or behavioral health professionals.
- Experience with travel healthcare, permanent placement, government healthcare, federal staffing, or state healthcare contracts.
- Familiarity with healthcare licensing, credentialing, compliance, and onboarding documentation.
- Experience using JobDiva, Bullhorn, CEIPAL, Recruit CRM, Avionté, or a similar applicant tracking system.
- Experience working with performance metrics such as calls, candidate screens, qualified submissions, interviews, offers, starts, and placements.
- Experience recruiting for difficult-to-fill, rural, relocation, or government healthcare positions.
