Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Shifting Schedule (Mostly US hours)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant / Recruiter to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to operate as a true specialist rather than work in a high-volume recruitment environment. You will take ownership of your market, develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and become a trusted recruitment partner to both clients and candidates.

You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from initial business development and job briefing through to candidate identification, interview management and successful placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a specialist recruitment desk within one or more of our core markets.
  • Build strong relationships with CEOs, hiring managers, Talent Acquisition teams and senior decision-makers.
  • Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking and market knowledge.
  • Take detailed and consultative job briefings from clients.
  • Identify, attract and qualify high-quality candidates using LinkedIn, databases, networking and direct approaches.
  • Build and maintain a strong specialist candidate network.
  • Present candidates professionally with detailed and relevant introductions.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial approach through interview, offer and placement.
  • Maintain regular communication with both clients and candidates throughout the process.
  • Provide market intelligence and recruitment advice to clients.
  • Develop long-term relationships rather than transactional placements.
  • Work across permanent, freelance and contract recruitment where appropriate.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous recruitment experience, ideally within a specialist or niche market.
  • A strong track record of winning and/or filling vacancies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative approach to clients and candidates.
  • Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business development and networking ability.
  • The ability to work at pace without compromising quality.
  • Excellent organisation and follow-up skills.
  • A genuine interest in understanding your market and becoming a subject-matter expert.
  • A resilient, entrepreneurial and self-motivated approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Specialist candidate sourcing using LinkedIn, recruitment databases and direct outreach.
  • End-to-end recruitment, from client briefing to offer negotiation and placement.
  • Business development and new client acquisition.
  • Consultative relationship management with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Candidate screening, interviewing and professional candidate presentation.
  • Recruitment pipeline management and consistent follow-up.
  • Market mapping and talent-market research.
  • Permanent, freelance and contract recruitment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication.
