We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with a strong enterprise background and deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud-native applications. Experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain is highly desirable. Candidate must be located and authorized to work in the United States Key Responsibilities: Architect end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Lead the design and development of solutions using services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue . Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams. Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, especially in relation to HIPAA, HITRUST and U.S. Healthcare data . Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve solution delivery and reliability. Required Qualifications: Physically located in the US and authorized to work (without sponsorship) 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design. Extensive experience with AWS , including hands-on expertise with the following services: EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue . Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js . Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing. Strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using CloudFormation or similar tools. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate with significant enterprise experience). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in U.S. Healthcare IT systems or working with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Experience with data analytics tools and pipelines within AWS (e.g., Quicksight, Glue). Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, monitoring, containerization).
