💼 Tax Manager – U.S. Tax

📍 Location: Nairobi, Kenya | 100% Remote

🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday | 5:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Kenya Time

(Equivalent to 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST)

We’re looking for an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in U.S. taxation to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in U.S. public accounting firms, managing complex tax engagements, reviewing tax returns, and providing technical guidance to other team members.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns.
• Review complex tax engagements and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior tax professionals.
• Research and resolve U.S. federal and state tax matters.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze tax information.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and support timely tax filings.

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of U.S. tax experience, specifically within a U.S. public accounting firm.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120.
• Advanced proficiency in UltraTax and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation.
• Experience reviewing tax work and mentoring junior team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong English communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
