Scrubbed Assurance LLP is a licensed independent CPA firm offering attest services, while Scrubbed Advisory LLC provides tax, finance, and support services. Scrubbed Advisory LLC is not a licensed CPA firm but works closely with Scrubbed Assurance LLP to support clients’ broader financial needs.


Role Description The US Tax Senior Staff is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and reviewing U.S. tax compliance and preparation for a portfolio of middle-market clients. Day-to-day activities include preparing federal and state income tax returns, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, and assisting with tax planning and projections. The role involves analyzing financial statements and accounting records to identify tax implications, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to current tax laws and regulations. The US Tax Senior Staff also collaborates with cross-functional teams, communicates directly with clients on tax-related matters, and supports process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of tax services.


Qualifications

  • Strong tax technical skills, including Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and U.S. Tax knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Accounting and the ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
  • Several years of experience in U.S. tax (public accounting or equivalent), with exposure to middle-market or closely held businesses.
  • Comfort with remote work, including strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
  • Experience using tax compliance software and MS Office tools; familiarity with workflow and document management systems is a plus.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, continuous learning, and staying current on U.S. tax laws and regulatory changes.
