User Researcher

User Researcher — Remote (South Africa)

We're a fast-growing consumer AI company building apps used by millions of users worldwide. We're looking for a User Researcher based in South Africa to become the voice of our users and shape what we build next.

What you'll do:

You'll speak directly with our users every day — conducting 70–80 short calls daily to understand their needs, frustrations, and experiences and arriving at 10-15 Deep User Interview Insights. You'll run research on new product ideas before we build them and dig into how users engage with our existing products. You'll synthesize what you hear into clear, actionable insights that directly influence product decisions, working closely with our product and growth teams.

What we're looking for:

• Excellent spoken English and strong interviewing skills; you're comfortable talking to strangers and making them open up
• High energy and discipline — this role involves a large volume of calls daily
• Ability to spot patterns across conversations and communicate findings crisply
• Self-driven and reliable in a fully remote setup
• Prior experience in user research, customer support, sales calls, or market research is a plus
• Excellent Communication Skills and ability to communicate well with stakeholders

Details:

1. Full-time, fully remote.
2. Working days: Monday to Saturday
3. Salary: R150,000–200,000 R/yr
