The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. In the role of SPA’s utility coordinator you will be the point of contact for all utilities across the project. You will be accountable for the timely and accurate provision of comprehensive utility information and coordinate with design and site teams to ensure the project has the information required to undertake work. This role will require the utility coordinator to work on site with site teams to ensure compliance to legal requirements when working around utilities. The Utility Coordinator will lead on future developments to the SPA utility processes, identifying areas for improvement. Your unique skills and experiences could be exactly what we need. #LI-KP1 Responsibilities Take ownership of assigned projects and work with personnel throughout the Alliance to ensure utility information is fit for purpose. Maintain a utility tracker to ensure orders are placed in a timely fashion and data is always current and meeting legal requirements to undertake work. Check through all utility data for errors or omissions prior to making plans available to project teams. Be a point of contact should colleagues have a query with regards to utility data Process, review and present utility information in GIS, as required Save Utility information and checklist to project folders on Forma (previously Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC). Take ownership of assigned projects and work with personnel throughout the Alliance to ensure utility information is fit for purpose Identify schemes where our Global Support Team can offer efficiencies and raise associated task brief. Support project teams with utility related requests (including diversions, third party supervision requirements) Contribute project knowledge to team tracker to allow thorough review and assessments of schemes. Work with site team to ensure adherence on site to SPA and legal requirements during delivery of scope Ensure Alliance personnel and new starters are familiar with utility processes and kept up to date. Manage and coordinate the utility mailbox, to the stated level of service whenever possible. Advise Team Lead if peaks in work occur. Keep up to date with new organisations; company merges and their supply areas and feed into Team Lead. Identify new search opportunities and innovations in the sector that will drive efficiencies and rigor in the utility search process. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential Strong stakeholder management – both internally and externally. Proficient in MS Office Programs Excellent organisation and prioritisation Adapts with ease to new ways of working and fast changing environments Ability to work with and influence site team to ensure compliance with SPA / legal requirements on site Experience in the use of digital design technologies/software (ArcGIS, BIM/CAD etc.) Desirable Previous experience in construction/utilities Awareness and understanding of key industry documentation (such as HSG47, CDM Regs, PAS 128 & 256). Experience with FME for automating processes. Full UK Driving Licence
