🚀 **Project Overview**

You will be embedded directly within client's Messaging team, focusing on dual-sided user bases across mobile apps and desktop web platforms. The primary objective is to drive quality, responsiveness, and innovation across messaging workflows. By designing intuitive AI-powered messaging features and optimizing reply patterns, your work will directly accelerate employer-candidate communication so that more conversations successfully result in hires.

🔍 **Key Responsibilities**

- **End-to-End Product UX Design:** Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups for messaging experiences across both mobile and desktop platforms.<br/>- **AI Feature Integration:** Lead the UX design for new AI-powered messaging features to streamline and improve interaction efficiency between users.<br/>- **Responsiveness & Engagement Patterns:** Create design solutions—including reply prompts, expectation setting, status transparency, and re-engagement patterns—to increase responsiveness between employers and job seekers.<br/>- **Design System Adherence & Handoff:** Leverage established design languages, components, and patterns within Figma to ensure smooth design-to-engineering handoff workflows.<br/>- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner closely with distributed, cross-functional teams across Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and Legal.<br/>- **Design Validation:** Iterate on designs by integrating qualitative user research insights and validating performance through structured A/B testing programs.

💡 **Must-Have Skills**

- **Proven UX Experience:** 3+ years of professional product UX design experience in a mid-level individual contributor role.<br/>- **Portfolio Demonstration:** A proven portfolio showing end-to-end product design, including interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user journey mapping.<br/>- **Complex Enterprise Workflows:** Hands-on experience designing complex workflows or data-heavy experiences (e.g., search, filtering, data export).<br/>- **Core Tools & Systems:** Strong, current proficiency in Figma alongside experience working within established design systems and handoff workflows.<br/>- **Research & Autonomy:** Demonstrated ability to integrate research insights, iterate on feedback, ramp up quickly, and work independently with minimal oversight.

- **Domain Expertise:** Prior product design experience with messaging, inbox, unified communications, or notification systems.<br/>- **Accessibility:** Expertise in accessibility standards, familiarity with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and experience designing for assistive technology.<br/>- **Internationalization:** Experience with localized products, particularly for global markets such as Japan.<br/>- **Design & Testing Methodologies:** Mobile-first design experience and direct involvement with A/B testing validation.<br/>- **Enterprise Background:** Prior experience working as an embedded contractor within large-scale product organizations.

The role requires strict alignment with the US Central Time Zone (CT). Candidates must be available to work during CT business hours to ensure real-time collaboration with distributed engineering, product, and research partners.
