Valuation Specialist

We are currently searching for Valuation Specialists. The position performs highly detailed functions and technical measurements as it regards collateral for our lending. Analyze and evaluate appraisals and supportive reporting. Analyze high-value and/or high-risk properties consistent to company risk compliance. Responsibilities Detailed review of various valuation reports (Appraisal Reports, Field Reviews, Desk Reviews, ARRs, BPOs, etc.) Communicate concerns related to collateral and value Researching and Analyzing property data for analysis (Market/Sales/Rent/Regional, etc.) Communicating and resolving questions or problems with multiple departments Make value recommendations Other duties/projects as assigned May perform administrative directed audit functions Skills Required Comprehensive understanding of real estate valuation methodology and concepts Familiar with researching property and zoning details via online websites (County, City, State, GIS Maps, private data sources, etc.) Plat Map, Survey, Legal Description, and Title Review Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Credentials and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree preferred 4-5 years of relevant experience Experience performing real estate valuation reviews and/or a previous audit support role Experience in the Mortgage or Banking industry Benefits Our benefit offerings include: Medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, EAP counseling services, FSA & HSA, company sponsored life insurance for employee, voluntary life insurance for employee, spouse and child, AD&D Insurance, voluntary short-term and long-term disability, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, legal assistance, pet insurance, living will and trust preparation discounts, commuter program, annual walking challenge, employee appreciation events and monthly sales awards.
