Value Creation Services Senior Manager Why you'll enjoy this new opportunity Our Value Creation Services Team are both business model and industry specialists working with some of the most interesting and cutting-edge clients globally. We are a hands on, delivery focused team supporting corporates and private equity backed companies seeking accelerated performance improvement in cash and EBITDA positions. We help business overcome challenges by supporting management and owners drive sustainable operational change. Working alongside colleagues across Deloitte, our VCS team is experiencing rapid growth and we are looking for candidates with a mixture of business, technical, and project-based expertise to join us, working in a fast-paced team with other highly talented, fun and motivated colleagues across Europe. You will be working closely with Private Equity and corporate clients, delivering improvement initiatives and turnarounds. What type of work will I be doing? As a member of the team you will conduct and own the following: Lead engagements or specific workstreams on cost transformation, complex cash and working capital improvements Provide day to day oversight and support for more junior team members, with an inclusive culture where people are recognised for their delivery of client work Lead operational analysis and performance baseline exercises to prove/disprove hypotheses, working with functional teams to identify the current status quantum of the client/target business, at times supported by consultant level resources Lead client interviews as required to uncover opportunities for value creation Develop and implement strategies to optimise cash flow, including order to cash, procure to pay and inventory management Provide practical and operational value creation advice to clients supported by evidence compiled from interviews, data analysis, baselines and external comparators Practical hands-on thinking to solve operational issues with client, in many cases working directly with functional leads in a business to collaboratively determine levers and solution design Communicate views and insights in an effective and compelling manner to clients and your Deloitte colleagues Support and coordinate bids and proposals Support the Partner / Director / Senior Manager community in business development activities, contributing to thought leadership and supporting the team growth Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position. Successful candidates will have: Degree, or equivalent, in Accounting / Finance / Business is desirable; Experience in delivering cost transformation, cash and working capital improvement related programmes, ideally within Consulting, industry or private equity Knowledge of and experience in applying cost transformation and programme management methodologies to scope, plan, and deliver business change programmes on time and to budget Understanding of cost principles and levers to reduce P&L cost across COGS, SG&A and R&D including productivity (doing more with less); Business development experience including driving responses to bids and proposals; Excellent analytical and modelling skills, with keen attention to detail; Initiative to take on new challenges, within a supportive environment; Experience with Private Equity companies highly desirable Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and BI tools Perfect fluency in oral and written English.
