The role
We're looking for a marketer who can own two things: how VAO shows up in search, and how VAO shows up in the room.
On the digital side, create content that ranks on Google, gets cited by leading AI platforms, and makes digital transformation and trade compliance easy to understand and engaging.
On the events side, it means owning our presence at industry conferences in the US and Europe end-to-end: booth design, logistics, materials, and the campaigns that fill our calendar before the event and follow up after it.
Your work will directly fuel the pipeline, and you'll see the impact within weeks, not quarters.
What you'll do: Digital Marketing
- Lead end-to-end content roadmap strategy across all funnel stages to accelerate buyer journeys and boost conversions
- Own our SEO and AEO strategy: keyword and topic research, on-page optimization, content structure, internal linking, and technical fundamentals
- Write and publish blog content, landing pages, and thought-leadership pieces aimed at supply chain, trade compliance, finance, and IT leaders, with performance bonuses when your content drives measurable engagement and pipeline
- Produce short-form video for LinkedIn and YouTube, including concept, script, recording, editing, and publishing
- Design the graphics that carry our brand: social posts, blog and landing page visuals, infographics, presentation templates, ad creative, and email assets
- Build and run our social presence, with LinkedIn as the primary channel
- Optimize our content to be found, quoted, and cited by AI answer engines
- Support email marketing and campaign content in coordination with the sales team
- Track performance in Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and HubSpot, and use what you find to decide what to do next
- Lead VAO's PR strategy and execution, media relations, press releases, product and partnership announcements, analyst and industry publication outreach.
- Own our webinar program end-to-end: topic and speaker planning, Zoom Webinars setup, registration pages and reminder sequences, live production and moderation, and turning each recording into follow-up content and sales assets
- Design and build landing pages that convert, mapping each page to its funnel stage, structuring the message and layout around a single clear action, and testing headlines, forms, and CTAs to improve conversion rates over time
What you'll do: Events and Field Marketing
- Plan and coordinate VAO's presence at industry conferences and trade shows across the US and Europe
- Manage event logistics: registration, sponsorship deliverables and deadlines, booth space, shipping, vendors, travel, and budget tracking
- Design and produce booth graphics, banners, brochures, one-pagers, and giveaways, working with vendors and printers to get them delivered on time
- Run pre-event campaigns to book meetings, and post-event follow-up sequences to convert conversations into pipeline
- Travel to represent VAO on-site, work the booth alongside the commercial team, and capture content while you're there
- Report on what each event actually produced: leads, meetings, opportunities — so we can decide where to invest next year
What we're looking for
- 3-4 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology
- Demonstrated SEO results you can quantify: e.g., doubling organic traffic within 12 months, or 20+ target keywords ranked on page one.
- Experience organizing trade shows, conferences, or corporate events, including the unglamorous logistics
- Strong writing in English; you can explain a technical product in plain, human language
- Practical familiarity with AEO / generative engine optimization, or genuine curiosity and a clear point of view on it
- Strong skills producing video and basic design work (Canva, Capcut, After Effects, or similar)
- Graphic design skills with a portfolio to show: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for print and brand work, Canva or Figma for fast day-to-day social and web graphics.
- Strong knowledge of tools like GA4, Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, and HubSpot
- Fluent in professional English
- Willingness and eligibility to travel several times a year internationally, including to the US and Europe
- Experience owning PR strategy and execution, with placements or announcements you can point to.
- Self-directed and organized, you'll juggle a content calendar and an event calendar at the same time, and both have hard deadlines
- Experience planning and running B2B webinars, including hands-on use of Zoom Webinars (registration, practice sessions, Q&A, polls, and post-event reporting)
- Landing page and conversion design experience — you design for UX and clarity, and you've tested to lift conversion rates
Nice to have
Experience marketing to enterprise buyers, familiarity with the SAP ecosystem or supply chain/logistics, and hands-on use of AI tools in your content workflow.
