  • Evaluate mechanical systems for constructability, fabrication readiness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Verify alignment between coordinated models, fabrication content, and installation requirements.
  • Identify conflicts, omissions, dimensional discrepancies, and constructability issues before they impact fabrication or field installation.
  • Ensure deliverables meet contract requirements, project specifications, approved submittals, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable codes.
  • Partner with VDC teams, project managers, fabrication leaders, and trade partners to resolve issues and improve project outcomes.
  • Provide actionable feedback that enhances model quality, fabrication accuracy, and coordination effectiveness.
  • Support the continuous improvement of QA/QC processes, fabrication standards, and VDC best practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in mechanical construction, fabrication, VDC, BIM coordination, detailing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication methods, and construction practices.
  • Experience reviewing fabrication drawings, spool sheets, installation packages, and coordinated BIM models.
  • Understanding of constructability, prefabrication workflows, and field installation requirements.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, or similar VDC tools.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, submittals, and fabrication requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical trade experience in HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, or industrial mechanical systems.
  • Experience with fabrication detailing and manufacturing workflows.
  • Knowledge of prefabrication and modular construction methods.
  • Experience supporting field installation teams and resolving constructability challenges.

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in ensuring quality and constructability before work reaches the field.
  • Influence QA/QC standards and best practices across VDC and fabrication operations.
  • Collaborate with experienced construction, fabrication, and VDC professionals on complex projects.
  • Help improve project outcomes, fabrication efficiency, and installation success.
  • Make a meaningful impact through innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
