Role Description The Vietnamese Interpreter role at LanguageBees is a full-time remote position focused on providing accurate, timely, and professional interpretation services between Vietnamese and English. On a day-to-day basis, the interpreter will handle live calls and virtual sessions, conveying messages faithfully in both languages for medical, legal, business, and customer service contexts. Responsibilities include listening carefully, interpreting meaning without adding or omitting information, and maintaining strict confidentiality and neutrality. The interpreter will follow client-specific protocols, document session details as required, and collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to ensure consistent service quality. The role also involves participating in ongoing training, staying current with terminology and best practices, and using company-provided technology platforms efficiently.
Qualifications

• Strong bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated interpreting abilities, including consecutive interpretation, clear note-taking, and accurate message transfer.
• Familiarity with medical, legal, or business terminology and the ability to learn and apply specialized vocabulary.
• Professional communication skills, including active listening, cultural sensitivity, and a calm, customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access, basic technical skills, and comfort using virtual call center tools.
• High ethical standards, including respect for confidentiality, impartiality, and adherence to interpretation protocols.
• Previous experience as an interpreter, translator, or customer service representative is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in linguistics, translation/interpretation, communication, or a related field is beneficial.
• Availability to work full-time, with flexibility for varying schedules and time zones as required.
