Venture Partner

HORAIZON Labs is a Warsaw-based deep tech venture studio. Following our exit from Braight Technologies, we back founders in AI, cybersecurity, biotech, and defense & dual-use - not as a detached advisory shop, but as an embedded partner across commercialization, fundraising, and company-building.

We're scaling the team and opening a Venture Partner seat.

Who we're looking for

This is not an entry-level role. We want an operator with a real track record who can walk into a portfolio company and move it forward.

• 7+ years in venture capital, corporate VC, or hands-on venture building
• A genuine international or CVC network you can open on behalf of founders
• Proven ability to take a company through fundraising - from narrative and materials to a structured investor process and a closed round
• Deep tech fluency, or at least the instinct to get up to speed fast on hard technology
• Comfortable working with a small, fast team

What you'd do

• Take 2-3 portfolio companies under your wing and drive them toward their raise
• Make the intros that matter and sit in the rooms where deals get done
• Sharpen positioning, tighten the story, and pressure-test the plan alongside the founders
• Bring judgment we don't yet have in-house - your experience is exactly the gap we're filling

Why now

We're moving into Horizon 3.0 - more sectors, more ventures, more velocity. We're building across five hubs: dual-use & defense, biotech, space & robotics, fintech, and energy. Early team members shape the thesis.
