Apply Description We are looking for a former Healthcare CISO, Chief Risk Officer, or Head of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to join HITRUST in a highly visible, market-facing role. This is not a traditional operational role, this is a strategic, influence-driven position for a respected industry leader who wants to shape the future of cybersecurity and risk in healthcare. You will leverage your network, credibility, and experience to open doors, guide executive conversations, and help the market better understand the value of HITRUST certification. What You’ll Do Open doors at the highest levels: Use your network of CISOs, CIOs, Risk, and Procurement leaders to create meaningful executive introductions Facilitate strategic conversations: Engage in peer-level discussions on cybersecurity, TPRM, and regulatory pressure, and position HITRUST as the standard Host and lead executive roundtables: Curate and moderate high-value discussions with healthcare leaders across the country Represent HITRUST externally: Speak at industry events, conferences, and private forums as a thought leader Support GTM success: Partner closely with our sales and marketing teams to accelerate pipeline and influence strategic deals Advise internally: Provide feedback to our leadership team on market dynamics, customer needs, and product direction Who You Are Former Healthcare CISO, CRO, or Head of TPRM with deep industry credibility Trusted advisor with a strong executive network across providers, payors, and healthcare ecosystem players Comfortable operating in boardrooms and peer-level settings Passionate about improving cybersecurity and risk management across healthcare Natural storyteller who can translate complex risk concepts into business value Energized by influence, impact, and relationship-building (not just execution) Why This Role is Different External impact and influence Opportunity to shape how healthcare approaches third-party risk and assurance at scale Work alongside a seasoned executive team and some of the most recognized organizations in healthcare Be the face of a movement, not just a product About HITRUST HITRUST is the leader in validated cybersecurity assurance used in third-party risk management and compliance.
