Salary: $120.00 Hourly Vice President of Finance - Fractional STI Federal is seeking an experienced and strategic VP of Finance to support the organization in a fractional or part-time capacity. This role will provide executive financial leadership, ensure financial discipline and integrity, and guide decision-making aligned with STI Federal’s mission and long-term business goals. What You’ll Do… Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a long-range financial strategy aligned to STI Federal organic and inorganic growth goals and provide executive financial leadership and guidance. Forecasting & Budgeting Discipline: Collaborate cross functionally to maintain forecasting, increasing predictability and supporting scenario planning, supported by robust project level pricing, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Financial Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness : Strengthen financial policies, procedures, and governance across the organizationto ensurecompliance with federal contracting financial requirements, internal controls, and audit standards, and managefinancial risk. Enterprise Reporting& KPIs : Provide oversight of accounting functions to ensuretimely,accuratefinancialreportingandtranslate accounting outputs into strategic insights.Own financial KPIs ensuring cross-functional alignment supporting growth and project delivery. Capital Strategy & Treasury Leadership: Drive the capital allocation and treasury management strategy,optimizingcash flow, overseeing banking relationships, and ensuring effective financing structures for long-term financial health. Strong strategic thinking and ability to evaluate complex financial scenarios Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial insights into actionable guidance Demonstrated ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and engage cross-functional teams Deep knowledge ofDCAA,GAAP standards, financial controls, andotherfederal contracting compliance Able tooperateeffectively in a fractional/part-time leadership capacity, prioritizing what matters most Minimum Qualifications  Education:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experiencein federal contracting Prior experience as aDirector of Finance, VP of Finance,CFOor equivalent senior role Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, or other government contracting financial systems Clearance:  Ability to obtain andmaintainrequired clearance Preferred Qualifications  Education:  Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related discipline CPA or CMA certification Experience:  Experience in tribal enterprises or mission ‑ driven organizations Experience supporting ELT-level strategic operations Work Environment  Environment:  Work will be performed remotely with the ability to travel for work as needed.
