Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering

Position Description:

Infinite Electronics is seeking a Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering to provide executive leadership for the technical strategy, infrastructure architecture, and engineering execution of our rapidly expanding Data Center Solutions business. This executive will be responsible for developing and implementing the long-term technology vision supporting AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, edge computing, and next-generation infrastructure solutions.

The Vice President will lead engineering organizations responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and innovative infrastructure solutions while partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership to deliver market-leading technologies that accelerate business growth and strengthen Infinite Electronics' position within the global data center market.

This leader will establish engineering standards, architecture frameworks, technical governance, and organizational capabilities that enable rapid innovation, operational excellence, and exceptional customer outcomes.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute the long-term engineering and infrastructure strategy for Infinite Electronics' Data Center Solutions business.

· Define the technical vision and architecture supporting AI infrastructure, hyperscale computing, enterprise networking, cloud, colocation, and edge computing environments.

· Lead global engineering organizations responsible for infrastructure design, systems engineering, solution architecture, and technical execution.

· Partner with Product Management to align customer requirements, market opportunities, and technical roadmaps.

· Drive engineering excellence through scalable design practices, automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Establish engineering governance, technical standards, architecture review processes, and development best practices.

· Lead infrastructure innovation across connectivity, interconnect, power distribution, thermal management, rack infrastructure, fiber optics, networking, and physical layer technologies.

· Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify new product and platform opportunities.

· Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure solutions are scalable, manufacturable, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule.

· Build and develop high-performing engineering leadership teams while establishing succession planning and organizational capability.

· Support mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and technical due diligence activities.

· Develop engineering metrics, KPIs, and executive dashboards to measure organizational performance, execution, quality, and customer satisfaction.

· Represent Infinite Electronics with executive customers, strategic partners, industry organizations, and technology alliances.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

· Fifteen (15)+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience within data center infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, enterprise technology, telecommunications, or related industries.

· Ten (10)+ years leading global engineering or infrastructure organizations.

· Demonstrated experience developing enterprise-scale infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, networking solutions, or AI infrastructure.

· Experience leading cross-functional engineering organizations across architecture, infrastructure, systems engineering, software, hardware, and technical program management.

· Proven success establishing technology roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy and long-term business objectives.

· Experience managing large engineering budgets, capital investments, and organizational planning.

· Strong executive communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence customers, partners, and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

· Experience supporting hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure, enterprise networking, colocation providers, or large-scale data center operators.

· Experience with GPU computing, high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML infrastructure, or distributed systems.

· Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.

· Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

· Experience participating in mergers and acquisitions, technical due diligence, and strategic technology investments.

· Experience presenting technology strategy to executive leadership, customers, and industry stakeholders.
