Working in partnership with each stadium’s primary booking contact, this role is responsible for supporting business development efforts by cultivating relationships with promoters, agents, event producers, and other industry stakeholders to maximize booking opportunities and venue utilization. Rather than serving as the primary booking representative for each venue, the Vice President provides market expertise, industry relationships, and strategic guidance to help stadium teams generate interest in available dates, expand promoter partnerships, and increase event activity across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is a highly connected industry professional with a proven track record in venue booking, live entertainment, or sports and entertainment partnerships. This role pays an annual salary of $200,000-$205,000 and is bonus eligible. Responsibilities Serve as a strategic booking resource and advisor to each stadium’s primary booking contact within the assigned region. Support stadium teams in developing and executing booking strategies to increase event activity across assigned properties. Proactively cultivate relationships with concert promoters, agents, event producers, sports organizations, and other industry partners to generate interest in available booking opportunities. Collaborate with promoter partners and stadium booking representatives to identify opportunities, develop event pipelines, and secure new business. Provide market intelligence, touring insights, and competitive analysis to assist stadiums in attracting and booking events. Partner with venue leadership and booking personnel to align regional booking strategies with each stadium’s business objectives. Assist in negotiations and facilitate discussions between promoters and stadium representatives as needed to support successful event bookings. Monitor industry trends, touring schedules, competitive venues, and emerging opportunities to identify potential events for assigned properties. Maintain relationships with key promoter partners while serving as an extension of each stadium’s booking efforts. Track regional booking activity, pipeline development, and performance metrics, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to leadership. Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade events, and networking functions to strengthen relationships and promote the organization’s stadium portfolio. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field; 10+ years of progressive experience in stadium, arena, or major venue booking, live entertainment, sports, or event management, including leadership responsibility across multiple venues or markets. Demonstrated executive-level relationships with promoters, booking agencies, artist management, sports organizations, event producers, and entertainment partners. Extensive knowledge of event booking, contract negotiations, event settlements, financial proformas, budgeting, event licensing agreements, and venue operations. Proven success developing booking strategies that increase venue utilization, revenue, and long-term business growth. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders across multiple venues and organizational levels. Strong strategic planning, business development, financial analysis, and negotiation skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship management, and executive leadership abilities. Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, venue management software, and booking systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
