Video Content Editor

RYZ Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Video Content Editor to join the creative team of one of our clients. This role combines creative video production with personalized storytelling, creating meaningful memorial videos for families while also contributing to the company's marketing and brand content.

The ideal candidate has a strong visual sensibility, excellent editing skills, and the ability to adapt their work to different audiences, formats, and creative objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce polished video content by combining footage, photographs, audio, music, and visual elements into cohesive final pieces.

- Create personalized memorial videos and slideshows that honor loved ones, working with families to incorporate their memories, preferences, and personal materials with sensitivity and care.

- Partner with the Head of Customer Success and other creative team members to coordinate projects, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality videos.

- Take ownership of video editing for marketing initiatives, collaborating with company leadership to develop engaging brand and promotional content.

- Use professional editing software, particularly DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, to edit, enhance, and finalize video projects.

- Develop reusable project structures, editing workflows, and templates to improve production efficiency and maintain consistency.

Required Qualifications

-Demonstrated professional experience in video editing and post-production.

-Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, with the ability to manage projects from raw footage to final export.

-Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, audio synchronization, and overall video composition.

-Ability to establish consistent editing styles and build templates or repeatable workflows.

-Excellent attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.

-Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

-Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
