We're building a content operation around labour-market intelligence — the state of hiring, ghost jobs, what's actually happening in the job market — published on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

The content isn't corporate marketing. It's data-driven, opinionated, and made to be watched to the end. That's the job.

The role - Video Editor 100% Remote

You'll take scripts, raw footage, AI-generated assets and data, and turn them into short-form videos people actually finish watching.

We're not looking for a technician who executes a timeline. We're looking for someone who understands why a video holds attention — where the hook lands, when to cut, what to put on screen at second 12 so nobody scrolls.

Expected output: Short-form videos, plus occasional longer YouTube edits.

What you'll do

• Edit vertical short-form for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Write and cut hooks — the first three seconds are the part we'll judge you on
• Burn in captions, add pattern interrupts, pace for retention
• Build simple motion graphics and data visualisations (we publish a lot of numbers)
• Work with AI generation tools (HeyGen, Creatify, ElevenLabs and similar) as part of the pipeline
• Design thumbnails for longer YouTube pieces
• Review performance data after publishing and tell us what you'd change

What we're looking for

Required

• 2+ years editing short-form social video with published, verifiable work
• Demonstrable understanding of retention — you can explain why a video worked, not just how you cut it
• Fluent in CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Comfortable with burned-in captions, sound design, and trending audio conventions
• Good written English — you'll be writing on-screen text and captions
• Fluent in Filipino — you'll be writing on-screen text and captions
• Your own machine capable of handling 4K, and reliable internet
• Experience with AI video and voice tools in a real production pipeline
• Motion graphics and data visualisation (After Effects or equivalent)
• Thumbnail design
• A channel or account of your own that you've grown

Compensation and benefits

• USD $800 - $1000/month depending on portfolio and output speed
• 100% remote
