Opportunity Overview

Our client is a British beauty and personal care brand looking for a talented Video Editor to shape content across paid social, organic social, and web channels. Experience within the beauty, personal care, or lifestyle sector is a strong advantage. This is a fully remote, full-time role for an editor who thrives working independently.

Role Description

As Video Editor, you will take existing footage and edit it into fresh clips for paid and organic social campaigns and the website. You will handle colour grading and quality assurance so every asset stays polished and on brand. You will also create generative AI video footage to widen what the brand can produce. Success here means delivering strong work reliably while communicating clearly in an asynchronous, remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Video Editing - Edit existing footage into new clips for paid and organic social.
• Website Content - Adapt and produce video clips for use across the website.
• Colour Grading - Grade footage to keep every visual consistent and on brand.
• Quality Assurance - QA all footage to ensure clean, polished final assets.
• Generative AI Video - Create generative AI video footage to broaden creative output.
• Asynchronous Delivery - Deliver polished edits reliably while communicating clearly in a remote team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Editing Experience - 2-6 years of professional video editing experience across social content.
• Editing Software - Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or a similar professional editing suite.
• Colour Grading - Hands-on experience grading and quality-checking video footage before final delivery.
• English Fluency - Excellent written and spoken English for clear, day-to-day collaboration.
• Async Communication - Strong asynchronous communicator who works well independently in a remote setup.
• Sector Familiarity - Experience within the beauty, personal care, or lifestyle sector.

Bonus Qualifications

• Generative AI Video - Experience generating AI video content for social or marketing use.
