Video Editor

We're looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor Intern to help bring our YouTube content to life. You'll work directly with the founder to edit 2–4 videos per month (10–20 minutes each), handling everything from rough cut to final export.

This is a great fit if you love the outdoors, want hands-on experience building a real content brand, and are looking to add meaningful work to your portfolio.

Location: Remote

Commitment: 5–8 hours/week

Compensation: Unpaid (college credit available) — with potential to grow into a paid role

Start Date: Flexible / Rolling

What You'll Do

• Edit raw footage into clean, engaging YouTube videos & shorts
• Add music, lower-thirds, basic graphics, and captions as needed
• Follow brand guidelines for tone and style (clean, authentic, not over-produced)
• Deliver final cuts on agreed timelines
• Offer creative input on storytelling and pacing
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar)
• Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
• Reliable communicator who meets deadlines
• Genuine passion for the outdoors — hiking, camping, backpacking, or any adventure sport — is essential, not optional
• Portfolio or reel required — even student projects are welcome
