Video Editor

About the role

I run an independent iGaming consultancy advising licensed operators across Europe, LatAm and North America. The business is built on content: 15.000+ LinkedIn followers, 60,000 to 125,000 weekly impressions, a Monday to Thursday publishing cadence, and a growing presence on Instagram, X and YouTube. I am now moving from text-first to video-first.

I need one person who owns the edit. You take raw footage and turn it into finished short-form and long-form video that is ready to publish, on schedule, every week.

What you will do

• Edit 8 to 25 short-form videos per week (LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, X, YouTube Shorts) from recorded material
• Cut 1 to 2 long-form pieces per week (interviews, event recaps, explainers)
• Add captions, on-screen text, lower thirds, cutaways and simple motion graphics in a consistent house style
• Colour-correct, clean audio, remove filler and tighten pacing
• Export platform-specific versions (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) with correct specs per channel
• Manage the footage library, project files and naming conventions
• Work from a weekly content calendar and hit publishing deadlines without reminders
• Suggest hooks, cuts and formats based on what performs

What you need

• 2+ years editing short-form content for social platforms, with a portfolio of published work
• Fluent in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus After Effects or equivalent for titles and basic motion graphics
• Strong instinct for pacing, hooks and retention in the first 3 seconds
• Clean, readable caption and typography work
• Reliable turnaround: same-day for a short, 3 working days for a long-form piece
• Professional working English

Preferred, not required

• Filming experience: you can shoot as well as edit (framing, lighting, audio capture)
• Willingness to travel: 4 to 6 industry events per year across Europe (SiGMA, iGB, ICE, AffPapa and similar), all costs covered
• Based in Sofia, so we can film together in person
• Your own filming equipment (camera, lenses, microphones, lighting)
• Comfortable with iGaming, betting and casino subject matter

If you tick these boxes, the role expands from editor to full video producer, with pay adjusted accordingly.
