Role Description This is a full-time remote Video Editor role. The Video Editor will collaborate with faculty, staff, and marketing teams to plan, edit, and finalize video content for courses, promotional campaigns, webinars, and social media channels. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, creating engaging narratives, adding graphics and sound, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and educational objectives. The role also involves optimizing video formats for various platforms, managing file organization, and meeting project deadlines. The Video Editor is expected to provide creative input, maintain consistent quality standards, and communicate effectively within a distributed team environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics or animation tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in visual storytelling, framing and composition, pacing, and audio editing or sound design.
• Candidates should possess skills in file management, media organization, version control, and attention to detail in quality checks.
• Candidates should possess skills in collaborating with academic and marketing stakeholders, interpreting creative briefs, and incorporating feedback constructively.
• Candidates should possess skills in basic graphic design, understanding of social media video formats, and optimizing content for digital platforms.
• Relevant qualifications include prior experience in video editing for education, marketing, or digital content; familiarity with remote collaboration tools; and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree or certification in Film, Media, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is beneficial but equivalent experience will be considered.
