We are seeking a Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and a talent for producing captivating videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This role combines video editing with graphic design responsibilities for social media, making it a perfect fit for a candidate fluent in Turkish and English. A strong understanding of social media platforms, expertise in video production and post-production, and a forward-thinking, creative mindset around AI are essential. We’re looking for someone who uses AI to work smarter, move faster, amplify creativity, and elevate the quality of their work.

Note: Candidates must be able to work during New York Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit promotional videos, social media content, and advertising campaigns for Gozel Law.
• Develop platform-specific video content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Handle post-production tasks, including video editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Add graphics, text animations, and motion graphics to enhance video quality.
• Oversee audiovisual projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Craft compelling video stories aligned with our brand identity.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Turkish and English is required, Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in video production and post-production.
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience in motion graphics, animation, and sound design.
• Strong creative vision and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and platform-specific requirements.
• A forward-thinking mindset around AI, using it to work smarter, move faster, amplify creativity, and elevate the quality of the work.
• Experience with video shooting or camera operation is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Employment Type & Compensation:

• This is a full-time independent contractor position, requiring 40 hours per week. This is not a freelance or project-based role.
• Working hours will align with the New York (ET) time zone.
• Compensation: $1,800 per month.
• As a remote independent contractor, this position does not include health insurance, paid benefits, or other employee benefits.

Additional Requirements:

• Please provide a portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video editing work on your resume.
• If selected for the next round, you will be asked to complete a short video editing assignment and explain your creative and editing decisions in English.
