Video Editor / Technical Writer

Role Description This part-time remote role combines Video Editor and Technical Writer responsibilities to support communication about the company’s installation projects, methods, and innovations. Day-to-day tasks include planning and producing video content that showcases workflows, renovation solutions, and sustainable technologies, as well as editing footage, refining audio, and applying color grading to ensure professional visual quality. The role involves creating motion graphics and visual overlays to clarify technical concepts, along with writing clear technical documentation, how-to guides, and explanatory texts that align with the company’s LEAN and BIM practices. The Video Editor / Technical Writer will collaborate with project teams to translate field expertise into accessible digital content, maintain brand consistency, and ensure materials accurately represent the company’s commitment to reliability, creativity, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, capture, and assemble high-quality video content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and overall image quality.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create visual elements that clarify technical processes and concepts.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to explain complex installation and renovation topics in clear, concise language.
• Experience creating content for construction, installation, or engineering environments is beneficial.
• Proficiency with common video editing and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalents).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant education or training in media production, communication, or a technical field is an advantage.
