Video & Photo Production Assistant

We’re looking for a junior to mid-level Production Assistant (contract, part-time or full-time) to support our production team at our Tokyo office. As PA, you will be involved in all production tasks during pre-production, shoots (on set), and post-production.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about photography, film, design and fashion
• Speaks Japanese (main) and English (second), and has good communication skills
• Is flexible, adaptable and creative
• Enjoys working independently but also as part of a team
• Knows the basics of project planning & management and embraces digital work tools
• Can work under tight schedules, incl. sometimes weekends
• If possible, has a driver license
• Is familiar with the production industry/process (not a must)

Your tasks include:

• Assist with planning and coordinating video and photo shoots
• Assist with production administration
• Assist with location scouting and permitting
• Assist with talent casting and booking
• Source and order video and photo equipment
• Maintain daily communication with crew and client
• Help with market research and sales activities
