Videographer & Studio Manager
Tax AlchemyDennis Media Group is looking for a highly capable, organized, and adaptable Senior Videographer & Studio Manager to work closely with Karlton Dennis and the broader media team.
This is not a traditional videographer role.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day production environment while also working directly alongside Karlton to capture high-quality content in the studio, on location, and while traveling.
The right person will be technically strong behind the camera, highly organized, comfortable working with high-level talent, and able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with high expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Film high-quality short-form, long-form, YouTube, podcast, educational, promotional, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Operate professional multi-camera setups, including Sony FX-series cameras and similar professional equipment.
- Set up and manage professional lighting, audio, cameras, lenses, monitors, and other production equipment.
- Maintain visual consistency across multiple filming environments.
- Work with Karlton and other talent to efficiently capture large volumes of content.
- Identify opportunities to capture additional content and B-roll during shoots, events, meetings, and travel.
- Assist with quality control of video content before publication.
- Collaborate with the media team on new filming styles, creative approaches, visual branding, and production improvements.
Podcast Production
- Own the technical operation of Karlton's podcast studio.
- Prepare and operate multi-camera podcast recordings.
- Manage microphones, audio recording, lighting, framing, camera settings, media, and monitoring.
- Make sure every podcast recording is fully tested and production-ready before the guest arrives.
- Help create a comfortable and professional environment for podcast guests.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure podcast footage and audio are properly organized and delivered following each recording.
Studio Management
- Take ownership of the day-to-day organization and readiness of the studio.
- Keep cameras, lenses, microphones, lighting, batteries, memory cards, cables, and accessories organized and ready for use.
- Maintain equipment and identify problems before they interfere with production.
- Make sure batteries are charged, cards are prepared, settings are correct, equipment is returned to its proper location, and the studio is reset after shoots.
- Maintain an organized and professional production environment.
- Help develop and maintain production checklists, systems, and workflows.
File & Data Management
- Manage the transfer, organization, backup, and storage of production footage.
- Maintain consistent folder structures and file naming conventions.
- Work within cloud and local storage systems including Dropbox, Google Drive, SSDs, and centralized media storage.
- Ensure footage is properly backed up and accessible to editors and other members of the media team.
- Maintain an organized archive so previously recorded content can be located quickly.
Production Calendar & Team Coordination
- Help manage the studio filming calendar.
- Coordinate with Karlton, internal talent, the media team, and other stakeholders regarding upcoming shoots.
- Make sure the correct content is prepared for each filming session.
- Coordinate studio availability, talent schedules, production requirements, and upcoming content needs.
- Communicate proactively when schedules, production needs, or priorities change.
- Work closely with copywriters, editors, social media team members, and leadership to keep production moving.
Podcast Guest Coordination
- Assist with outreach to potential podcast guests.
- Communicate professionally with guests, talent, representatives, and assistants.
- Coordinate scheduling and recording logistics.
- Send confirmations, recording details, location information, and other necessary communication.
- Follow up consistently and professionally when needed.
- Help maintain an organized pipeline of prospective, contacted, confirmed, and previously recorded guests.
Travel Production
This role will periodically travel with Karlton for events, speaking engagements, company events, podcast appearances, retreats, and other opportunities.

- Prepare and manage travel production equipment.
- Film Karlton in changing environments outside of the studio.
- Capture high-quality content without requiring ideal production conditions.
- Recognize valuable content moments throughout the day.
- Manage batteries, storage, footage, backups, and equipment while traveling.
- Work professionally around executives, entrepreneurs, public figures, clients, and other high-level talent.
- Maintain discretion and good judgment regarding what should and should not be filmed.
Travel may occasionally include several days away from home and may involve destinations throughout the United States and internationally.
Qualifications & Required Experience
We are looking for someone with strong professional experience across several areas of production.

- Significant professional videography and production experience.
- Strong experience with Sony professional camera systems, preferably including FX3, FX6, A7S III, or similar systems.
- Advanced understanding of camera settings, lenses, exposure, frame rates, picture profiles, color, lighting, and audio.
- Experience with professional multi-camera productions.
- Experience filming podcasts, interviews, YouTube content, and short-form social media content.
- Strong working knowledge of professional lighting and audio equipment.
- Experience working with high-volume content production.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills.
- Experience with platforms such as Notion, Slack, Frame.io, Dropbox, and Google Drive.
- Experience working directly with talent, executives, creators, or public-facing personalities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision.
- A strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership.
