VIE Integration Engineer

Purpose We are looking for a VIE Integration Engineer to join our team in Tokyo. This is a hybrid role combining platform integration and validation with hands-on infrastructure deployment — including on-premises installations at customer sites. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable scripting a test plan and spinning up a docker-based cluster, and can represent the company technically in front of customers. Key Missions Integration & Testing • Define integration and testing strategies, including test plans and scenarios • Ensure requirements traceability and full test coverage • Perform system integration and validation testing (load, performance, high availability, accuracy, and security) • Investigate issues by analyzing logs during test and production execution • Report and track incidents using configuration management tools until resolution Platform Deployment & Infrastructure • Deploy and maintain the platform on customer premises, including full-stack orchestration (Docker Compose, Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration) • Manage private Docker registries and container lifecycle (build, tag, push, pull, versioning) • Configure and maintain supporting infrastructure: reverse proxies, networking (VLANs, firewalls, DNS), and secret/config management • Work with Apache Cassandra as part of the platform stack, supporting deployment and basic validation • Execute platform upgrades, patches, and rollbacks with minimal service disruption • Support and troubleshoot the SaaS platform hosted on Microsoft Azure, coordinating with internal cloud operations when needed • Collaborate with customer IT/infrastructure teams to meet security and compliance requirements during deployment Documentation & Knowledge Transfer • Produce and maintain documentation for installation, deployment architecture, testing, operations, and administration • Provide training to customers, internal support, and maintenance teams • Maintain regular communication with customers in English on a daily basis Profile & Other Information Knowledge of Linux Experience with public cloud services, such as AWS Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of Cassandra or equivalent databases Good English communication skills Japanese language skills are considered a nice-to-have Experience: 1.5 years Location: Tokyo (On-site presence required 3 days per week – not a fully remote role) Join Us!
