Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Vietnamese – English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide real-time, accurate, and culturally appropriate interpretation between Vietnamese and English during virtual calls, meetings, and conferences. Daily responsibilities include facilitating communication in medical, legal, and business contexts, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering to professional codes of conduct. The role also involves preparing for assignments by reviewing terminology, maintaining detailed and accurate records of sessions when required, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to enhance service quality. The interpreter is expected to participate in ongoing training, adapt to different client requirements, and use call center and communication technologies effectively.
Qualifications

• Strong Vietnamese and English language skills, including excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
• Proficiency in consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation, with the ability to convey meaning accurately and neutrally.
• Familiarity with medical and legal terminology, or willingness to learn and specialize in these domains.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote call center environment, including reliable internet access and comfort with communication software and IT tools.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle back-to-back calls and manage workload under pressure.
• Relevant experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in telephone or video remote settings.
• Formal training or certification in interpretation, linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Availability to participate in ongoing training and development programs offered by LanguageBees.
