Virtual Assistant

Job Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Short-Term Rental (STR) Virtual Assistant to join our growing team! This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience managing vacation rentals in the Smoky Mountains, specifically Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of short-term rental properties
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues
• Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance vendors, and inspectors
• Monitor reservations, calendars, and pricing
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and special requests
• Process maintenance tickets and follow up until completion
• Ensure listings remain accurate and optimized across booking platforms
• Assist with owner communications and operational reporting

Requirements

• Significant experience managing STR properties in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and/or Sevierville, TN
• Strong understanding of the Smoky Mountains vacation rental market
• Experience with platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com
• Experience using property management systems (Hostaway, Guesty, Hospitable, OwnerRez, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office

Schedule

• Full-time
• Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time (East Coast) business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating cleaners and maintenance teams in the Smoky Mountains
• Familiarity with dynamic pricing tools such as PriceLabs
• Experience handling guest escalations and emergency situations
• Knowledge of local regulations and vacation rental operations in the Smoky Mountains
