Virtualization Engineer (m/f/d)

As a VMware and Hyper-V specialist, you'll optimize data center infrastructure while collaborating with expert teams and contributing to exciting projects with continuous learning opportunities. This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania with the possibility of working in a hybrid or remote setup. What you will do Design, operate, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters . Plan and implement high-availability solutions and live migrations. Analyze and optimize the capacity and performance of CPU, memory, storage, and network resources . Perform maintenance, patching, and upgrades, and support infrastructure migrations and hardware refresh projects. Analyze and resolve hypervisor-level issues with a focus on long-term stability. Create and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks. When you fit in with us Mandatory requirements: 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server. Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi . A good understanding of data center architectures , including SAN, storage, networking, and backup concepts. Proficiency in PowerShell. A structured, analytical approach to work, with the ability to remain solution-oriented when troubleshooting complex issues. Fluency in English and German .
