Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Visa Counselor role based in the Mohali district, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Visa Counselor will guide clients through the entire visa and immigration process, including assessing eligibility, explaining documentation requirements, and outlining relevant procedures and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting consultations, collecting and verifying client documents, completing and reviewing visa application forms, and coordinating with internal teams or external agencies as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate records, tracking application status, and keeping clients informed of updates or additional requirements. The Visa Counselor is also expected to stay current with immigration policies, provide clear and empathetic support to clients, and contribute to continuous improvement of counseling and service processes.
Qualifications

• Strong client counseling and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, application forms, and case files.
• Basic knowledge of visa and immigration procedures; willingness to continuously update knowledge of regulations and policy changes.
• Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools for data entry, record keeping, and online applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment (office and remote) while managing multiple cases.
• Prior experience in immigration consulting, overseas education counseling, or a related field is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; courses or certifications related to immigration, international relations, or counseling are a plus.
• High level of integrity, client-focused mindset, and commitment to non-discriminatory, ethical service practices.
