What We Need
TALK Hong Kong is a registered charity committed to preventing child sexual abuse (CSA) and supporting survivors through research, awareness, and primary prevention training. Established in 2019 and formalised as a charity in 2023, our mission is to empower society with the knowledge and tools to prevent CSA and foster safer environments for children.
What We Have
We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to support the delivery of the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children (SOC) child sexual abuse prevention curriculum for Hong Kong’s Cantonese-speaking population. This initiative aims to break down language barriers and increase access to effective CSA prevention training.

What We Do
We exist to prevent child sexual abuse and support survivors in Hong Kong. We believe that protecting children from sexual abuse is a responsibility that rests with adults. By providing education and training, we aim to empower adults with the knowledge and confidence they need to take action and create a safer world for children.
What We Need
- Facilitator Training: Complete the English SOC training provided by TALK Hong Kong. Complete the 1 day English training for SOC facilitators provided by Darkness to Light.
- Facilitation: Deliver training sessions to parents, teachers, NGO workers, and other adults responsible for children.
- Community Engagement: Support outreach and participant engagement before, during, and after training.
- Feedback & Evaluation: Collect and analyse participant feedback to help refine and improve training delivery and content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with TALK’s core team, including our lead facilitator, Taura Edgar, and other volunteers.
