Role Summary:
F5 is seeking a visionary Vice President of AI Business Enablement to lead our efforts in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform business processes, enhance operational workflows, and drive impactful decision-making. In this executive-level role, you will serve as the leader of AI-driven innovation across the organization, ensuring alignment between strategic business objectives and emerging AI capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce and implement state-of-the-art AI solutions that redefine how we operate and deliver value to our customers. You will take a human-first approach to the transformation, deeply understanding the impact of the AI transformation on the people of F5 and working with them to elevate their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the AI business enablement strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader business objectives and long-term vision of F5 Inc.

  • AI Enablement: Identify and deploy AI-powered technologies to enhance business transformation efforts, streamline workflows, and improve decision-making across all levels of the organization.

  • Effective Change Management: Understand the changes that we are driving, how they impact work and people, and effectively navigate the organization through the changes with a human-first approach.

  • Executive and Company-Wide Communication: Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and all employees, clearly articulating the business value and potential of AI initiatives. Deliver concise, impactful presentations that translate technical AI capabilities into business-relevant outcomes.

  • Business Transformation: Drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives by integrating AI-driven innovations into business processes, products, and customer solutions.

  • Workflow Optimization: Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of optimized process workflows enabled by AI capabilities, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams to integrate and scale AI solutions across departments.

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of AI experts and business analysts responsible for driving AI implementation and enablement.

  • Innovation Management: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate new AI technologies, and identify opportunities for their application to enhance competitive advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in technology or business leadership roles, including a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and business transformation.

  • Proven ability to leverage AI to drive measurable business outcomes and deliver operational improvements.

  • Experience in large scale business transformations.

  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex AI solutions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Expertise in process workflow optimization and operational efficiency, with a history of successfully driving automation and process improvements.

  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives using cutting-edge technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across diverse groups of stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics.

  • Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

  • Experience with implementing AI solutions at an enterprise scale.

  • Familiarity with regulatory, ethical, and privacy considerations related to AI.

The annual base pay for this position is: $265,000.00 - $397,400.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.

Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter.
